The end

Deakins:
Captain, I was busy on a clone war called “fingerprinting”  and I totally forgot that Bows-2 is going to end today... Time is running so fast!

Hale:
Sure Major, it may be also because Ep. 3 was more quiet. Up to now we have only 4 different soldiers in the Hall. I’m wondering if this Episode wasn’t too demanding?

Deakins:
Maybe Captain, processing 10000 images is neither peaceful nor peace of cake, you know.

Hale:
You can see however that Andreas Westfeld is (again) first with an astonishing score! Really impressive! Even if security attacks are not easy to perform, it seems that they can have terrible consequences.
We have to admit that our counter-attacks were not resistant enough for the rules of Ep.3...
But listen, imagine that instead of 30 cones we have used 300, or a complex detection region like a fractal hyper torus ... And I was thinking, instead of the wavelet decomposition we take the Fourier-Mellin to cope with geometrical transforms ... and ice on ttop of the cake, we use a really robust version of your perceptual hash based on sift feature points: BA would have been unbreakable for sure!!! Even for Ep2 and Ep3!

Deakins:
Calm down Hale, it took already 6 months to build BA, you’re not talking about BOWS-2 anymore, you are dreaming about the new BOWS-3 here! We cannot allocate more time on BOWS-2, as I told you, we have other battles to fight now.
Beside Captain, BOWS-2 was harassing enough with 9 months of attacks, 10000 images to watermark, more than 10 millions images submitted, 15 registered participants and more than 150 unregistered participants. It is now time to leave the battlefield and to let the glorious soldiers to build the next BOWS challenges. Let’s hope that there will be veterans who will contribute to the virtuous circle created by the BOWS contests!

Hale:
Right Major, but we are soldiers and soldiers are not needed anymore in a pacific world, what will be our next battles?

Deakins:
This is a different story. I just come back from Hungary where I met a great Colonel there who told me ....
