Hale:
Deakins, how was your trip with Model Francoise? Did you succeed in recruiting for our challenge?

Deakins:
Well, we attended both ICIP & ACM MM&Sec. We made a lot of advertising there.

Model Francoise:
Actually, I'm feeling quite like a star right now. Austrian soldiers recognized me in San Antonio. Soldier Engel came right to me in the Hyatt lobby and Soldier Stütz talked to me at the welcome reception. Let's hope I won't end up like some sort of a Paris Hilton for watermarkers.

Hale:
I think you're far away from this, Model Francoise. Just calm down. Did you meet somebody else?

Deakins:
Yes. We met the chief of the Merry Bowmen of Vigo in Thessaloniki at the 2nd ECRYPT summer school on Multimedia Security. He told us the challenge was a great idea to help pushing the community forward. However, he was quite disappointed one of his soldiers got stuck in Ireland. He's under the impression an Irish girl is trying to forbid him to play BOWS2. However, he said there is no evidence up to now of any connection between this girl and the Austrian Soldiers. His investigation is still going on.

Hale:
Model Francoise, what is your general feeling about your trips?

Model Francoise:
Well, in the beginning I did not figure out exactly what the hell it could have meant to model for BOWS2. Even if it is quite surprising, it's not that bad. I must say I enjoy it quite a lot. Finally, it's all about travelling, being recognized in high-stantard hotels, and talking about detection and codewords. Maybe the most difficult part was to resist the assault of the Austrian soldiers in the US.

Deakins:
That's definitely true. However, we ended up with quite a powerful strategy: instead of letting them have Model Francoise “fragile” in order to access the original 'souvenir' image, we paid them a few gallons of beers.

Hale:
What???

Deakins:
I know this was a rather risky strategy, but we succeeded. Your training in Brittany was so helpful to us.

Model Francoise:
I even took pictures of the Austrian Soldiers at the San Antonio Coyote Ugly Saloon. They should keep quiet now.

Hale:
What about the summer school in Greece?

Deakins:
Lots of soldiers to recruit there. I mentioned several times BOWS2 in my talks. The audience was somewhat calm however. I bet they were trying to hack BOWS2 images during the talks.

Hale:
That's fine. You should get reimbursed of your trips then!
